Texas AABC is hosting Regional Qualifier Leagues for Texas teams.
Each team will play 2 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday.
The fee will be $500 per team.
All teams will be registered with
AABC and be eligible to advance to their Regional Tournament in
Farmington, NM.
The winners of the Willie Mays and Pee Wee Reese regional advance to
the World Series in Puerto Rico. The winner of the Sandy Koufax
regional advances to Surprise, AZ for their World Series

All teams that enter any
Regional of World Series qualifier must submit an Official AABC
ONLINE Roster 24 hours before the tournament starts. The
National Office is redesigning an online roster that the tournament host
would only have access to the player name, number and birth date.
Rule 107 (Change)
Change date from July 1 to July 15.
Rule 201 (i) (Add)
The only non-uniformed
personnel permitted in the dugouts are certified trainers, other
personnel listed on the team’s official tournament roster, or an
official stationed in the dugout at the direction of the Tournament
Committee or Tournament Director.
Rule 214 (Change/Add)
In the NOTE: Change the
first line by replacing “National competition” with “Regional Tournament
Play”. Add to the NOTE at the end: “In World Series, double
elimination format (not in pool play), each game in the Stan Musial,
Connie Mack, Don Mattingly, Mickey Mantle, Ken Griffey Jr., Sandy
Koufax, 13 and Under, Pee Wee Reese, and Gil Hodges Divisions must
complete at least 7 innings or 6 ˝ (5 innings or 4 ˝ under the Mercy
Rule) if the Home Team is ahead; each game in World Series, double
elimination format (not in pool play) for Willie Mays, Jackie Robinson,
and Roberto Clemente Divisions must complete six (6) innings or 5 ˝ (4
innings or 3 ˝ under the Mercy Rule) if the Home Team is ahead. In
other words, all games must complete the number of innings designated
for their respective age divisions, there shall be no shortened games
under Rule 4.12 of the Official Baseball Rules.
Rule 221 (Change/Add)
(b) Stan Musial Division
may use a one flap helmet.
(c) Catchers may use
hockey style helmet and mask.
(e) Mickey Mantle and
Ken Griffey Jr. only wood, laminate or composite wood bats may be used.
(g) All bats must have a
certification of BPF of 1.15 or less in 2012.
In 2013 all bats must
have the AABC logo.
